Payments are final
A Crons subscription buys access to the service for a monthly or yearly period, with the limits described on the pricing page. Access is granted in full at the start of each period, whether or not you use it. We do not sell credits or charge per run, so the amount you use during a period does not change what you paid for it.
Before you pay, the homepage demo shows how Crons reads your job, the schedule and steps it proposes and a sample result, so you can judge whether it fits your work.
What is not refunded
- Changing your mind or no longer needing the service.
- Not using the service, or using less than your plan allows.
- Forgetting to cancel before a renewal, or cancelling right after one.
- A renewal charged after earlier failed payment attempts.
- Dissatisfaction with the wording or accuracy of AI output, or with data on websites a cron reads.
- A feature that is not described on the pricing page or does not work the way you assumed.
- Choosing the wrong plan, billing period or number of seats.
- The remaining part of a period after cancellation or after a downgrade.
- Suspension caused by a breach of our terms of service.
The only exceptions
We refund a payment only in these cases:
- 1Duplicate charge. You were charged twice for the same subscription and period.
- 2Proven unauthorized charge. A payment was made without your permission, for example after a stolen card was used, and you can show it.
- 3Total service failure. The service was unavailable to you for the whole paid period because of a fault on our side, and we could not fix it after you reported it.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time in the billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the current period, and you keep full access until that period ends.
Upgrades and downgrades
An upgrade to a more expensive plan or from monthly to yearly billing charges the difference immediately, and the new plan starts once that payment succeeds. A downgrade takes effect without a refund to your card.
Consumers in the European Union
Crons is a business service. If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a right of withdrawal for digital services. At checkout you ask us to start the service immediately and confirm that your right of withdrawal expires once performance begins. After that consent, the right of withdrawal no longer applies. Any other mandatory rights you have under consumer law are not affected.
How to request an exception
Write to support@crons.ai from the email address on your account within 30 days of the charge and include:
- the email address of the account and the workspace name,
- the date and amount of the charge,
- which exception applies and a short description,
- for a duplicate or unauthorized charge, a copy of the card statement lines.
We reply within a few business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, and the time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank. If a request is declined, we explain why and what you can still do, such as cancelling renewal in the billing portal.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. Most billing questions are solved quickly by email. If a chargeback is opened, we may pause the account until it is resolved, and we provide the bank with the subscription records, the checkout confirmation and the usage history.
